Divinity original sin walkthrough switches12/29/2023 ![]() If there is something you forget to loot, you will be unable to get it later. If you need to escape, you'll have to walk out before teleporting.Īlso, the mines will become inaccessible once this section is done. You will not be able to use your teleportation pyramids, nor will you be able to teleport to other Waypoint Portals, as long as you are in the mines. For now, ignore it, but leave the mushroom circle alone as you continue along the road. This technically relates to The Troll's Bounty side quest, but you can complete it a different way. As you travel along it, you'll trigger a Waypoint Portal near the Troll King's cave. For the sake of your levels, it's best to just run along the road and murder everything you come to. However, the goblins are incredibly easy, and sneaking past them will essentially mean leaving nearly free experience points on the table. Then you can just teleport the rest of the party forward when you're ready. If you want to really take advantage of this, break up your party, then give whoever is sneaking one of the teleporter pyramids. There are goblin scouts along this path, and the Source Hunters will suggest that you sneak by them, else you'll have to have several fights. Cross it, and you'll trigger an autosave. After that, head southeast and you'll find a wooden bridge. It won't update any quests, but you'll get some more information. Once Garkulda goes down, you can loot around her to find papers that hint about why she's there. The orc mystics tend to favor fire, so resist as appropriate. Maneuver to keep distance as much as possible from them, but stay a little spread out so the orc mystics don't hit you with their area attacks. If nothing else, that'll give the other orcs something to distract them so you can attack Garkulda with less risk.Īs always, you'll want to use area attacks if possible, but always hit Garkulda with every attack if possible. By starting from the south, you'll be able to keep both involved orc mystics in a line, rather than flanking you.Ĭonversely, the other orcs are pretty susceptible to charms, and you can significantly make your life easier by charming them from the start. You'll definitely want to start the next battle from the south after killing the aforementioned two young orcs starting this battle from the west will put you at a significant tactical disadvantage where you can be easily swarmed. After defeating them, be sure to save, then head north. If you're in the right place, you'll engage two Young Orc Fighters, who shouldn't trouble you. He served as a gateway battle, and at your current level, you should have no problem trashing him.Īfter getting past the orc, press into the southern edge of the path as it curves to the east. If you're in the right area, you'll have to kill a single orc warrior by his lonesome. (He was the troll involved in The Angry Troll side quest.) Once you reach him, go south down a thin path. Begin by teleporting to Silverglen, then run over to the location of Grumble, the troll to the southeast of the city. There is one serious fight, but otherwise it should be pretty easy. Once you have the potions and the pickaxe, it's time to start the journey to the mines. You can find a few around Silverglen that won't count as stealing. Also while you're in town, either buy or steal a pickaxe. Small Healing Potion = Penny Bun Mushroom + Empty Potion BottleĪlternatively, if you have a character with a very high Sneaking Ability, you may not need the invisibility potions at all.Armor Potion = Whisperwood + Small Healing Potion.Air Resistance Potion = Jellyroom + Empty Potion Bottle.Invisibility Potion = Air Resistance Potion + Armor Potion. If you wish to craft them instead, you're unlikely to have found all the ingredients you need, but just in case, the formulas are thus: You can buy potions from the vendors in Cyseal and Silverglen. It doesn't matter which you're using, just as long as you have at least a good 10 turns or more between all the potions you're carrying. The potion on the left has enough juice for 5 turns, or 60 seconds. That's the absolute minimum you'll need, but it's better to have more just in case. The one on the right will last 7 turns, or about 90 seconds. Both of those bottles are invisibility potions, but the one on the right contains more in the bottle.
